When you visit Fagerudd, you are staying at a hotel that is environmentally certified with Green Key. We work actively with environmental and sustainability issues through Green Key's comprehensive criteria.
Our environmental commitments
Some examples
We use LED lighting, 100% renewable electricity and have procedures for reducing energy consumption.
We separate and recycle our and our guests' waste.
We use 100% eco-labeled cleaning products for daily cleaning.
We have taken initiatives to reduce water consumption.
Our guests are offered organic foods at breakfast.
We work to reduce food waste.
We calculate our greenhouse gas emissions annually with the aim of reducing our climate impact.
Do you want to help us?
We hope you will help us reduce our environmental impact, please:
Leave recyclable packaging and deposits in your room or in the premises and we will sort it for you.
Help us save fresh water by not showering unnecessarily long.
If you stay longer we only change sheets every third day, please let us know if you need us to change sheets more often.
Feel free to use your towel for an extra day. Place the towel on the floor if you want a new one.
Turn off lights, turn off electronics, and unplug chargers from electrical outlets when not in use.
Avoid throwing away food by, for example, not taking more food than you can eat.
Travel by public transport to and from our hotel.
Help us keep nature beautiful by not littering and throwing cigarette butts and cigarette butts in the trash.

Internationellt ledande miljömärkning av hotell
Green Key is an international label in the hospitality industry and is available in over 60 countries. The label is operated internationally by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), which is supported by, among others, UNEP and UNWTO. All facilities undergo regular audits to ensure that the criteria are met.
